Union Ideas Network
This is to draw to your attention a fairly new website which aims to serve as a focus for discussion on trade union issues, bringing together trade union academics with union activists. You can read the material without registering, but you need to register to post an article or comment on articles on the site. There are currently over 700 people registered.
The themed sections are: Conferences, Economic/Social Policy, Education and Skills, Employment Law, Employment Relations, Equality and Diversity, Europe/International, Health & Safety, Union Modernisation Fund, Union Organising, Unions and Politics.
You do not have to write some weighty theoretical article, the site can benefit from reports of trade union experience on the ground.
You can visit the site at: www.uin.org.uk
